During the creation of a Blank Site, users are faced with an error when attempting the create a database and the site at the same time:
To avoid this bug, select Do not create database from the Site Database / Select database engine required for this site drop down.
The new empty site will be properly provisioned. You can now go to the database management screens, MySQL in this example, to create your database.
Click New Database to start the database provisioning process
