We upgraded RAM on the server and installed pending Windows updates.
The server has been functioning normally for about 4 hours now.

As of approximately 12:30am, the database server win-mssql02 is experiencing an outage that may last a few hours this morning. We are currently working to restore the server to its former functionality. If you are hosted on this server and your site is down, please check this blog post for any updates.
