Shared server Condor and ColdFusion

:::::Update 7/3/2014 @ 4:00pm Eastern::::

A new instance of ColdFusion has been placed on the new server.  We have also finished the migration to the new hardware and will continue to monitor it throughout the weekend.  We appreciate your patience while we worked on a permanent solution for this server.

If you experience any issues with your site on Condor, please call our support team.

We understand that ColdFusion on the shared server, Condor has been experiencing intermittent issues where the server will stop serving .CFM pages and the only way to resolve this is to restart the ColdFusion and Java Services.

After performing a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on the server, it has been determined to be a configuration issue with Java and the amount of memory assigned to ColdFusion.  We have tried to correct this, however, it has been determined that many of the configuration files have become corrupt at some point.

We DO have a permanent fix for this and that is to stand up a new server and perform a migration.  Until we finish this migration, you may still experience problems with the ColdFusion service, however, we will continue to monitor the service and restart it as it is necessary.  During the migration, there is nothing that you will need to do on your end.

We do anticipate this taking 24-hours to complete, however, as we have new updates, we will continue to post them here.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to your support team.
