Upcoming changes to Paypal Payflow Integration

On August 3, 2015, Paypal is making many changes to the popular Payflowpro module many websites utilize to take online payments.  Because these changes are technical in nature, HostMySite wants to remind those of you that currently have the Payflowpro module about the upcoming changes.

Please consult those individuals responsible for your Payflow Integration. They will be able to identify what, if any, changes are needed. Please forward the information below to your technical contact for evaluation as HostMySite will not be able to assist in this matter as it is related to individual website configurations.

Below is information directly from Paypal regarding the changes to Payflow Integration.

The following Payflow URLs are scheduled to be deprecated on August 3, 2015:

• payflowpro.verisign.com
• cr-payflow.verisign.com
• payflow.verisign.com
• payments.verisign.com

If you’re currently integrated with one of these URLs, you’ll need to update your integration to the corresponding paypal.com URL. Not doing so may impact your ability to accept and process payments.

We’re planning maintenance that will involve shutting down the URLs for specific periods of time to assist merchants with identifying whether they need to make changes to their integration. Please watch the alert section in the PayPal Manager for any updates, as well as the URL outage schedule.
