DDoS Attack – Dodo – March 25 Update

The attacks had subsided for a short while but resumed again last evening. Both of the IP addresses 65.36.146.88 and 65.36.146.13 are still null routed to prevent further disruption to the network. If your website uses either of these IP addresses, please contact Support and we will provide you with a new IP exclusive to your website. This will prevent further downtime and allow us to isolate the targeted site more effectively.

The attack is persisting across the main IP address 65.36.146.88 and spread to one of the alternate IP address 65.36.146.13. Both of these IP addresses will remain null routed while we investigate further. We are taking measures to determine the target site and isolate it from affecting other sites on the server.

We apologize for this extended outage. DDoS attacks typically last only 24 hours; it is a rare case for an attack to be this persistent. We will work diligently to resolve this as soon as possible. Thank you for you continued patience!

The Denial of Service attack against the server Dodo has resumed as of 9pm EDT last evening.  All sites on the server that are using the shared IP address of 65.36.146.88 are currently down as we had to null route the IP to prevent further impact for the next 24 hours.

We are currently experiencing a Denial of Service attack against the server Dodo. All sites on the server that are using the shared IP address of 65.36.146.88 are currently down as we had to null route the IP to prevent further impact. Most Denial of Service attacks last up to 24 hours.  We are currently working on a resolution as quickly as possible and will continue to update this blog post as we have more information.
