The bare metal restore has now completed.  Our Admins are now working to bring the server and its services back to normal functionality to restore website hosting once again.  Thank you

VPS Server Outage: H222412-13

Performance issues on VPSs on H222412-13 will be found at this time.  This is due to backups that failed to complete overnight now attempting to complete all at once.  The backups will need to run until completion which will, then, restore performance for all VPSs.  These can be found in the customer control panel under the Server Management

WordPress Admin Access on Lin-web15

Our System Administrators have detected an attack targeting WordPress blogs on server Lin-web15. The attacks are directed towards the WordPress Admin "/wp-admin" directory. To help us resolve this attack, we have placed a block on the WordPress Admin until the attack subsides. We appreciate your patience while this matter is resolved. Castaways WordPress Brute Force Attack

While investigating performance issues on our shared hosting server, Castaways, we have recognized a brute force attack focused on sites utilizing WordPress. To help mitigate the attack, our Platform Administration Team has disabled access to the file “wp-login.php” login for 24 hours.

Once this is lifted, we recommend that you change your default user (admin) to something more unique and reset your password to maintain

DDoS Attack – WestVirginia – Nov. 26

We are currently experiencing a denial of service attack against the server WestVirginia. All sites on the server that are using the shared IP address of 204.12.104.249 are currently down as we had to null route the IP to prevent further impact. Shared Server Ladyluck experiencing intermittent Apache Failures
